NEW ALBUM UPDATE

We are beyond stoked to announce that our new album will be released on Friday, Nov. 11 through our website and various online channels (iTunes, CD Baby, etc.)

The album is called The Disconnect. It contains nine songs and runs just shy of 50 minutes.

We had Neil Kernon mix the album and Alan Douches master it. It goes without saying that their reputations precede both of them, and we're extremely happy with the job they did.

As far as the musical direction goes, The Disconnect hints at our 2007 debut, The Process of Indoctrination, while pushing things a lot further. We've grown a lot as musicians and as songwriters in the last four years, and The Disconnect is a reflection of that fact.

We've released a song off of The Disconnect called Our First Perversion, and it's available on our Facebook page.

We will be releasing a new video for the lead track on our album, a song called Of Redemption, within the next week. But in the meantime, here's a video we made last summer for Abaddon, a track of The Process on Indoctrination.

Gross Misconduct's 2007 debut drew rave reviews across the board, culminating in the band sharing the stage with the likes of Amon Amarth, The Haunted, Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Martyr, Neuraxis, Fuck the Facts, Augury, Unexpect, Forbidden, and Infernal Majesty, on top of playing the Vancouver dates of the 2007 and 2009 Vans Warped Tour.

November 2011 Update:

The time is nigh! The album is done! It will be released on November 11, 2011! Our new album is called The Disconnect, and we will be releasing it through our website and various online channels (iTunes, CD Baby, etc) on November 11.

The album contains 9 songs and runs about 50 minutes. We are beyond stoked to have Neil Kernon mix the album and Alan Douches master it. We also have a new video coming out for the lead track on our album. The song is called Of Redemption, and we hope to have it up on the internets around the same time the album is released.

And finally, we will be playing our CD release in Vancouver on November 11 with our good friends in Galgamex and Nylithia. Should be a gooder!
